Suitable for thinning oil based paints, cleaning paint brushes and cleaning up paint spills. White spirit is also commonly used to clean auto parts and tools, as a starter fluid for charcoal grills and to remove adhesive residue from non porous surfaces. Not suitable for use with acrylic or water based paints.
