Water Softener is a preventative agent formulated for use in Hot Water Pressure Washers equipped with an anti-scale tank to inhibit the formation of calcium scale build up on the boiler coil. Pressure washers can suffer from scale build-up over time, especially if you live in an area with hard water. Scale build up on the boiler coil would act as an insulator reducing boiler heat from reaching the water. In severe cases calcium scale can obstruct water flow reducing the cleaning power of a pressure washer. Continuous use of Water Softener will help to prevent the build-up of harmful scale deposits.

Red Diesel Gas Oil for use in off highway applications such as Plant, Agriculture, Marine, Pressure Washers etc has now been largely replaced with Kerosene. Where there is concern over excessive wear from the use of Kerosene, Safechem Kerosene Lubricity Improver will help prevent corrosion and rust build up. Suitability of substituting gas oil should always be assessed prior to use.
