This product has a multiplicity of uses and is formulated with a pleasant berry perfume. Recirc HD2 Clear does not contain any blue dye normally found in chemical toilet additives. We developed Recirc HD2 Clear for use by the British Army in green latrines. It is a clear chemical toilet sanitiser/deodouriser that is also suitable for no mains long drop toilets, fresh water flush units with separate effluent tanks and narrow boat toilets where the toilets do not recirculate. Green Latrines – use as a single dose of 25 litres. Monitor throughout the course of use and top up if necessary. The product may remain active for up to 12 weeks in this environment before servicing is required, dependent on use and capacity
Long Drop toilets – Recirc HD2 Clear is suitable for Long Drop Toilets used at major events, but is should be noted that for this application the lack of colour will make the contents of the toilet effluent tank visible. Use at an initial charge of 10 litres Recirc HD2 clear, plus fresh water to the normal fill level to activate the system. Add a further 5 litres every 3 hours over a 12 hour period dependent on usage.
Narrow boat toilets – suitable for use as a toilet additive in toilet systems that do not recirculate effluent. Minimum suggested dose is 200ml plus fresh water to normal fill level. This product may also be used as an effective sanitiser to remove odours from toilet tanks in narrow boats where access is restricted or time for treatment is limited between boat hires. Dose the tank with a minimum of 1 litre Recirc HD2 Clear. Add fresh water until the tank is full and allow to soak for a minimum of 1 hour – longer if possible. Agitating the tank by movement of the boat during treatment would help the cleaning process. Finally drain down the tank and refill with your normal toilet additive and fresh water to the normal fill level.
Fresh water flush toilet units – for use in the effluent tanks. Dose for single units is 100ml. Double the dose if heavy use is likely or hot weather is expected. For jack leg toilets with a separate effluent tank, suggested initial dose for the effluent tank is 10 litres Recirc HD2 clear, plus fresh water to the normal fill level. Thereafter a dose of 5 litres may be acceptable
