Bilge Cleaner

Description

Bilge Cleaner is a solvent free cleanser and deodoriser formulated specifically to clean the bilge of boats. Suitable for use in fresh water or salt water. The product dissolves out and emulsifies contaminants such as diesel oil, detergents, sludge and organic particles, creating an emulsion which can be removed by wet vac or similar means, to leave the bilge smelling fresh and clean. Safechem Bilge Cleaner biodegrades and will not cause any detriment to fiberglass, plastics, rubber materials or painted surface.

Directions: use 1 litre of Bilge Cleaner for every 8 metres (approx. 25 feet) of boat length. Pour Bilge Cleaner directly into the bilge at the beginning of a boat trip. If the bilge is dry add an adequate amount of clean water to allow movement and activate Bilge Cleaner. Allow Bilge Cleaner to remain in the bilge while running the boat for a minimum of one hour. The rolling action of the vessel will mix the treated bilge water to cleanse the inner hull of oil and remove mildew and other contaminants leaving treated surfaces smelling fresh and clean. After treatment remove the resultant emulsion by wet vac or similar method for safe disposal. Repeat as often as necessary to keep bilge clean and free from odours.
