Radiator Flush

Description

Radiator Flush is a concentrated cleaning agent specifically designed for removing contaminants from vehicle cooling systems. For use in most recirculatory water systems whether hot or cold water as well as vehicle cooling systems whether they be of commercial type or cars and light vans. Engine should be left to cool down prior to removing radiator cap, to reduce build up pressure and excessive temperature. Turn on the heater, if fitted, and add required amount of Radiator Flush to a warm radiator.  Run the engine for 25 minutes minimum (no longer than one hour).  Stop the engine and allow it to cool then drain the system by removing the bottom radiator hose or opening the drain cock.  Thoroughly flush and rinse out all old coolant.  Replace the hose or close the drain cock. Add water based or glycol based (premixed) coolant.

Start the engine, check for leaks and top up as necessary. Topping up of coolant should be done with same type of coolant. Application rates : Light commercial vehicles 300ml per 8 to 10 Litres of cooling system capacity. Trucks, tractors and large engines – add 1 Litre for every 6 Litres of cooling system capacity.
