Safechem Bright is an acid based aluminium cleaner and brightener. It works by removing any oxidation film leaving the surface treated bright and clean. Apply to the surface, agitate using a soft nylon head brush or sponge then rinse for a restored bright finish. Bright will also remove rust, oxidation and contaminants from mild steel
Bright is an acid based aluminum cleaner brightener that contains phosphoric acid. Formulated to remove rust from mild steel and dirt, oxide and brake dust from alloy wheels. It works by removing any oxidation film leaving the surface treated bright and clean. Where aluminium has become dull it is usually caused by oxidation forming a coating of aluminium oxide which protects the aluminium surface from corrosion, but as soon as you clean it off the aluminium is exposed and the whole process starts again. Fortunately, oxidation it is a slow process so the treated surface will stay bright and clean for some time.
Bright is not suitable for use on anodised or painted aluminium surfaces. Never use alkaline detergents to clean exposed aluminium as there will be a chemical reaction which will turn the aluminium black.
Directions: apply to the surface, agitate using a soft nylon head brush or sponge, then rinse for a restored bright finish. For best results remove excess dirt before application.
